Yemen Airways announced that a plane headed from Sanaa, which is controlled by the Houthis, made an emergency landing in the Saudi city of Jeddah.

Yemen Airways said in a statement on its Facebook page that the plane bound for the Jordanian capital, Amman, was forced to land at Jeddah Airport because one of the passengers had a health crisis upon entering Saudi airspace.

The statement stated that “the necessary medical measures were taken for the patient at the airport hospital, but his health deteriorated and he died in the hospital.”
