Officially.. Morata announces his departure from Juventus

Spanish striker Alvaro Morata announced Thursday that he will leave Juventus at the end of his loan period over the last two years, knowing that he is linked to an official contract with Atletico Madrid until June 30, 2023.

“I have always defended the colors of this shirt with all my might, and I will always remain a Juventus fan,” Morata, 29, said through his account on “Instagram”, without specifying his future destination.

In turn, Juventus confirmed the end of Morata’s career with him, saying, “Alvaro Morata’s adventure has ended. His last and wonderful goal, which he scored against Lazio (2-2) on May 16, during his last appearance in the Juventus shirt, will remain.”

Morata also played for Juventus between 2014 and 2016.

In the ranks of the “old lady”, Morata won the Italian League title twice in 2015 and 2016, and the Italian Cup three times in 2015, 2016 and 2021.

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea striker returned to Juventus in September 2020 on loan for two seasons.
