The Israeli police carried out a security operation to limit the entry of illegal residents into Israel, which was launched after a wave of deadly operations, and this operation was launched on the sixth of May.

According to the data, since the beginning of the operation and until last Monday, 280,072 suspects were investigated in Israel and the West Bank, including 174,807 in the vicinity of Jerusalem and 12,645 in the area of ​​central Israel. During the operation, 2,707 illegal residents were arrested, including 894 in the West Bank, and 730 In the Jerusalem envelope, 274 in the city of Jerusalem, and the rest in the northern, southern and central regions of Israel.

During the operation, 3,542 checkpoints were erected throughout the country and 128,248 vehicles were checked, the majority of which were 89,622 in the Jerusalem envelope. At these checkpoints, 43 cars were seized, their licenses were canceled, they were reused without a license plate, and 28 vehicles were confiscated.

It is clear from the data that the Border Guard forces and the Israeli police raided 2,177 police departments, secret apartments and building sites where illegal residents were present, and carried out 749 raids in the central and southern areas and 907 in the Gaza envelope.

According to the report, 1,200 policemen from all sectors participated in the operation, and 439 drivers who transported illegal residents, 111 operators and ten people who provided them with shelter were arrested.
